This is a really strange way to find out that cops know how to not use deadly force

Police Officers are seen taking selfies with the Trump supporters who ambushed Washington DC’s Capitol complex. If you like content like this, be sure to hit that like button and subscribe.

Trump supporters stormed Capitol Hill as Congress held a joint session to count the Electoral College votes, which would clear the path to President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration later this month.

But was the protest all apart of an elaborate hoax where the cops were in on it? Some people believe the Capitol Lockdown was an attempted coup fuelled by the President of the United States Donald Trump, who’s Twitter account was suspended for 12 hours and his Facebook was suspended for a day following the riot. Months leading up to the riot, Donald Trump has advocated that the election result was rigged.

Many can’t help but notice the startling contrast between the treatment of Black Lives Matter protesters and Trump Supporters. Some pointed out that, if an armed black man was storming the Capitol, they would have been shot. But if your white and call yourself a patriot you get a selfie.

A TikTok video shows protestors were let in to Capitol Hill by the police officers.

Meanwhile this was the security during the BLM protests.

Some say the gulf of difference in response from the police between these domestic terrorists and the peacefully protesting BLM marchers is shamefully racist. While others argued that cops taking selfies and letting them in was de-escalation and good police work.

Regardless, one woman paid the ultimate price: her life.

More law enforcement, including the National Guard, responded to the pro-Trump riots at the U.S. Capitol. Jeff Pegues reports from the scene.

A source confirms US Capitol Police Officer Officer Sicknick has been taken off life support and died, after being hit in the head with a fire extinguisher by a rioter at the DC Protests. If you want to stay up to date on this developing story, please hit the subscribe button below.

A multitude of officers line the front of the Capitol in silence, honoring fallen US Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick. He passed away due to injuries sustained while on-duty. His death is being investigated as a homicide.

A video emerged of Ted Cruz encouraging the acts of violence that took place at the Capitol that resulted in the death of a police officer. Later on he said he disagreed with President Trump’s rhetoric.

At least two Connecticut residents were arrested after being involved in the unrest at the U.S. Capitol building on Wednesday afternoon.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has labelled the riots and protests in Washington DC as “terribly distressing” and concerning.

Mr Morrison also announced changes to Australia’s travel advice.

“Due to violent protests in Washington DC, curfews are in place in the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia from 6pm on Wednesday 6 January to 6am on Thursday 7 January,” he said.

“You should avoid areas where the protests are ongoing due to the potential for violence.”

He also hoped for a peaceful and stable transition of government to the Biden administration.
